The Kine II (305h) Program builds upon the foundations already learned in Kine I. The structures and functions of the human body (with a focus on the articulations) and more pathologies encountered by athletes and non-athletes alike will be analyzed in greater depth. Advanced notions of Traumatology will also be taught.

The following are some of the techniques that will be taught: Passive Mobilizations II & III; Deep Tissue Massage II; Myo-Fascial Structural Therapy I & II; Taping II (Kinesio Tape); Posture II; and much more.

What are the core lessons of the Kine II (Kinesitherapy) course?

The Kine II kinesitherapy course is an excellent way to deepen your knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques. This program also allows students to enter the massage therapy profession with a specialization in kinesitherapy. This 305-hour program is made up of three components:

— Theoretical courses taught in our massage therapy and kinesitherapy school in Montreal

— Practical courses that apply advanced therapeutic maneuvers of kinesitherapy

— Supervised internships in clinics and at sporting events

Why is it necessary to complete the Kine I (Sports Massage) course beforehand?

The Kine I (Sports Massage) course offered by our massage school is designed to provide students with a solid theoretical, practical and professional foundation. The advanced courses in this second program significantly deepen students’ knowledge of the structures and functioning of the human body. 

The Kine I (Sports Massage) course is therefore required to fully assimilate and master the lessons of this program.

Who is the Kine II (Kinesitherapy) course for?

The Kine II (Kinesitherapy) course is mainly intended for massage therapists who wish to deepen their knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques.

It is necessary to have taken and completed the Kine I (Sports Massage) course in order to register for this program. 

For those who wish to begin their training as a massage therapist and gradually become familiar with basic massage techniques, our introductory courses and workshops are open to all and are offered in French and English.
