His corporeal experience, his commitment to his profession, as well as his anatomical knowledge make Sébastien Forgues a passionate and rigorous teacher of manual therapeutic approaches.

Kinesitherapy is a manual therapy that aims to release tissue and joint restrictions in order to increase and/or restore range of motion. The less restrictions there are, the more the articulation will be mobile, which allows the Kinesitherapist to treat their clients.

This training will deepen your knowledge of biomechanics and pathology, which will allow you to better assist your client and better adapt to their specific situation.

You will learn a very wide range of specific massage therapeutic techniques, mobilizations, glissements, fasciatherapy, trigger points, tissue approximations, rebounds, and more.

What are the core lessons of the Kine II (Kinesitherapy) course?

The Kine II kinesitherapy course is an excellent way to deepen your knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques. This program also allows students to enter the massage therapy profession with a specialization in kinesitherapy. This 305-hour program is made up of three components:

— Theoretical courses taught in our massage therapy and kinesitherapy school in Montreal

— Practical courses that apply advanced therapeutic maneuvers of kinesitherapy

— Supervised internships in clinics and at sporting events

Why is it necessary to complete the Kine I (Sports Massage) course beforehand?

The Kine I (Sports Massage) course offered by our massage school is designed to provide students with a solid theoretical, practical and professional foundation. The advanced courses in this second program significantly deepen students’ knowledge of the structures and functioning of the human body.
