Visceral Techniques 1 – Myofascial and Circulatory approach

The abdominal region is often approached superficially in most basic massage therapy training. However, the abdomen is a complex region that can be a source of referred pain, myofascial restrictions and fluid congestion in the body and thus create many discomforts. This course seeks to address the abdomen in such a manner that the therapist gains more anatomical notions, perfects his touch and palpatory exploration in addition to gaining  techniques that can relieve the client as the client regain mobility and ease of movement.

The therapist will learn how to work the abdomen safely by learning the contraindications and how to work in a respectful way. This course integrates very well into various other massage therapy approaches.
